Mercedes-Benz navigation map activation PIN for NTG7 (MBUX, second generation) head units.

⚠ A Windows PC is required to install this update — the Mercedes Download Manager only runs on Windows. Mac and mobile devices are not supported.

What you receive by email

• A Mercedes-Benz activation PIN generated for your VIN and the selected map version.
• The Mercedes Download Manager — handles the download, file extraction, USB formatting and copy in one step. Windows-only.

What you'll also need

• A USB stick, at least 32 GB (64 GB recommended for newer maps), formatted as FAT32 or exFAT.
• A Windows PC (required to run the Download Manager).
• Your Mercedes with the engine running (or ignition on) during the update.

Installation

About an hour from start to finish, most of which is the file copy. No workshop or coding tools required.

The PIN is tied to your 17-digit VIN and the selected map version — please double-check your VIN before ordering. The PIN cannot be transferred to another vehicle or paired with a different map version. If your model isn't listed, contact us with your VIN before ordering.
